PIAA Class 6A girls basketball first round: Nazareth vs. Downingtown East

Whenever March that is early comes, baseball teams within the Lehigh Valley are searching for almost anything to help keep their period alive.

For the Nazareth girls baseball group, it had been one monster run into the 2nd quarter of its PIAA Class 6A first-round game against Downingtown East that suggested the Blue Eagles would get to relax and play a minumum of one more game.

Nazareth defeated Downingtown East 68-40 at Freedom’s Joseph J. McIntyre Gymnasium on night friday.

“We’ve been playing effectively. It is nice to see them make it on into states; (we) constantly battle for the reason that round that is first some reason, ” Nazareth coach deep Bickert said. Continue reading →
